Cosecha de lluvia

Invertimos en un sistema de cosecha de lluvia, que permite mediante la captación, filtrado, almacenamiento y distribución, usar el agua de lluvia en nuestras áreas comunes. Además de la bomba eléctrica, instalamos una bici bomba, para distribuir el agua por pedaleo, con el fin de hacer actividades recreativas con el personal.
Con ello aprendimos sobre el costo de llevar agua a los hogares, disminuimos el uso del agua que provee la Ciudad de México y contribuimos al bienestar del personal.

Libro gratuito para población vulnerable tiene el objetivo de brindar contenidos con validez científica, en temas específicos de salud física, mental y emocional apoyando problemáticas, en un lenguaje comprensible y sin costo para quien lo adquiere.

Adding Thema subject codes to identify books on any SDG Goal

The global book trade needs to be able to identify books that are about or advance all or specific SDG Goals and it is important that these can be discovered by potential readers.. EDItEUR has now added specific qualifier codes for each of the SDG Goals to the global book subject classification Thema and these can be used by publishers to increase the visibility of titles around the globe, in any language and for any audience.

Joint Task Force on Outcomes and Impact – Report

Beginning in September 2022, the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) convened meetings of members of a Joint Task Force on Outcomes and Impacts (JTFOI). The membership of the JTFOI is drawn from two HESI Action Groups: Ratings, Rankings and Assessment (RRA) and SDG Publishers Compact Fellows (SDGPCF).

New open access programme addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Emerald Publishing has launched a new open access journal collection. Each new journal closely aligns to one or more UN Sustainable Development Goal to ensure they address many of the existential challenges facing our planet and society today. HarperCollins Employees Fundraise to Help Feed Hungry New Yorkers

Employees fundraised money to support City Harvest, a nonprofit committed to helping New Yorkers in need by rescuing good food that would otherwise go to waste and delivering it to soup kitchens, food pantries, and other community food programs across the city.

Promoting Equitable Access to Healthy Sleep for Children with Pajama Program

HarperCollins proudly supports Pajama Program, a nonprofit that ensures children have access to healthy sleep by providing new pajamas, storybooks and sleep health education. The program helps children facing challenges like low income, housing insecurity, and family instability develop better bedtime habits, which improves school performance, health, and emotional well-being. HarperCollins employees volunteered to teach children in the Bronx about healthy bedtime routines and donated books.

Diagnostic Testing and Laboratory Equity in Clinical Microbiology collection

Microbiology Spectrum welcomes studies on improving lab equity globally.
